In the "Trio" configuration. The base unit is locked onto the two shuttle-pods.
From this view, you can see that one pilot has the gunner's controls, and the other has the navigational controls.
A detail of the thruster configuration. The main thruster is in the center of the base, while the main thrusters from the shuttle-pods are steering controls.
